The Role:
The team at Sunbit is looking for a self-motivated and ambitious Senior Accountant to join our Accounting team. In this role you will assist in managing the day-to-day and month-end accounting activities. You will play a key role in managing the growth of our credit card financial product. While the primary responsibilities of the Senior Accountant are to accurately record and account for Sunbit’s transactions, we are looking for an accountant that can grow with us.
What You’ll Own:
- Prepare monthly analyses and schedules for our credit card receivables portfolio
- Import banking transactions and reconcile bank accounts in NetSuite
- Prepare daily reporting for our credit card and loan products to our bank partner
- Maintain and update fixed assets schedules
- Assist with month-end close journal entries
- Review and analyze other select general ledger accounts to ensure that financial transactions are properly recorded
- Perform other related duties or ad hoc projects within the scope of responsibilities
What You Bring To The Table:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Business Administration
- 3+ years of experience in general accounting
- General knowledge of accounting procedures, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills including ability to analyze large volume of transaction data
- Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work efficiently to complete projects
- Ability to communicate clearly and accurately with internal and external customers
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Consumer finance/lending industry experience
- Public accounting experience a plus

How We Pay:
- We believe in paying fairly and equitably based on a number of factors including but not limited to previous experience, relevant work history, interview performance, geographical location, internal equity, and expected level of ownership
- We are targeting a salary of $80,000-$100,000 for this role
- This role will also be granted company equity via stock options
