Primary Purpose:
The Senior Finance Shared Services Specialist is responsible for supporting and maintaining the department's business processes. The position will also help develop, implement and maintain process improvements that support the department and company's strategic initiatives. Assigned tasks will require a mixture of data entry, technical, and analytical skills. The Senior Finance Shared Services Specialist will work in a cross- functional team environment and have the ability to collaborate effectively to implement and maintain business solutions.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Complete daily departmental tasks; audit daily work for integrity and report any discrepancies to management
- Support, develop, and maintain effective communication and excellent relationship with internal customers including ensuring their requirements are identified and consistently met
- Participate in the development, design, measurement of assigned projects and ensure analytical and control activities are operating effectively within the department.
- Promote an effective relationship amongst the Finance Shared Services Center, the business unit, other corporate departments and ensures effective operational processes
- Promote continuous measurement, development and improvement of customer service quality and efficiency; assist with execution and implementation of LEAN Process Improvement Initiatives
- Support Company strategies and business plans to meet the individual and departmental performance requirements
- Participate in finance and accounting activities for the department including recommendations based on data, metrics and key performance indicators
- Investigate and prevent control and compliance risks to protect the company's assets from unethical behavior
- Adhere and drive department policies and procedures to ensure successful internal/external audits
- Ability to identify continuous improvement opportunities, innovative ideas, potential solutions and communicate them effectively

Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- 2+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience
Preferred:
- One (1) year of experience in Shared Services environment and/or process improvement
- Two (2) years of experience in Accounting, Finance or Compliance (Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Payroll, Etc.)
- Bilingual, English as the primary or secondary language
- Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and Adobe software, including constructing spreadsheets, use of formulas and formatting
- Experience working in a similar resort setting
- Gaming registration/ work permit/ licensed in all applicable jurisdictions as required
