The purpose of the Market Delivery
Sr Manager Role is to support the Transportation and Final Mile Supply Chain teams through budgeting, forecasting and analytics. This role will be highly collaborative to work through a very dynamic supply chain environment.
Key Responsibilities:
The Sr Finance Manager of Market Delivery will provide insight and guidance to drive operational excellence across our final mile delivery network. You'll deliver objective and financially focused insights to business leaders while playing the lead role in driving strategic initiatives, forecasting, planning and executing against financial goals. You will work cross functionally in the organization to ensure efforts and execution of business objectives are met. The leader will ensure control of operational spend and will create an environment that enables our business partners to meet their business needs. The successful candidate will have strong finance and analytic background, and the ability to understand the numbers, the operations, and how they tie together.
You will manage a diverse team requiring an environment of trust, innovation, accountability, open communication and personal development. Ensure that each team member has the support and training they need to maximize their performance. Prioritize the highest value-added work, while creating an atmosphere of empowerment. Coordinate appropriate development plans for each team member and focus on engagement of team to ensure high level of performance.
Required Education/Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field
7 years' experience in finance or analytical role
2 years' experience in strategic and financial modeling
3 years' experience leading people directly or indirectly
Experience with Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Preferred Education/Experience:
Master's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field
CPA, CFA and/or CMA Certification
3+ years of Experience in financial analysis, accounting, financial modeling and strategy consulting for business
Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) based systems, multi-dimensional databases, such as TM1, Hyperion or Essbase
Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools (e.g., MicroStrategy, Business Objects, Cognos, Teradata, TM1, Alteryx, SSIS, SQL, Svr)
Experience performing advanced data modeling, data mining and exploratory data analysis (e.g., linear/logistic regression, ARIMA, Cluster Analysis)
Experience leading cross-functionally on enterprise initiatives
Experience working in a big box/large retailer
Experience working at a Fortune 500 company
