The Leonardo DRS Land Electronics business provides C4I Network computing and integrated situational awareness, as well as state-of-the-art embedded diagnostics, vehicle power management and combat vehicle integration products and services.
- Set up, maintain and/or repair equipment and/or systems within the facility within area of expertise
- Follow maintenance schedule to ensure regular and preventive maintenance work assignments are completed when required
- Perform service calls, repairs, and equipment installations as directed
- Perform troubleshooting, diagnostic evaluations, and routine inspections on physical plant systems and equipment as required
- Maintain an inventory of parts and tools, and keep assigned storage areas clean and organized
- Follow company and departmental policies, procedures, and guidelines in daily work routines and assignments
- Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures
- Complete appropriate paperwork in a proper manner for the purchase, stocking, and/or use of all materials, parts, and components required for work order completion
- Ensure work orders contain appropriate and accurate information before submitting completed work orders
- May lead less experience employees
- Recommends cost savings strategies and techniques that will not compromise quality and individual safety
- Support and communicate the mission, values and culture of the organization
- Perform other related tasks or special duties as assigned
- High school or trade school diploma; prefer license in specific specialty with 4+ years of experience
- Solid working knowledge of building codes, OSHA requirements, and knowledge of safe working techniques and procedures
- Good oral and written communication skills
