Allabout the role:

Inthis role you will be reporting to the EHS Director for Electrolux MajorAppliances NA. You will be based in Anderson, SC.  The Senior Environmental & Sustainability Specialist willsupport actions and projects to ensure Plant's alignment with corporatestrategy. It is also the responsibility of the Plant Environmental &Sustainability Specialist is to maintain Site regulatory compliance and systemconformance to ISO 50001 and ISO 14001 to reduce overall waste, energy, andwater footprints.

Whatyou'll do:

Lead plant ISO 50001 and ISO 14001 management systems
Lead plant zero waste to landfill initiative to meet andmaintain the 2025 targets 
Lead the "Green Spirit" resource management program for theSite (internal program for energy & water)
Maintain facility environmental programs to ensureoperations meet all legal and permit requirements (RCRA, Stormwater,Wastewater, Air), including all associated and supporting procedures, workinstructions and tools necessary for proper implementation.
Maintain the facility EPA Risk Management Program
Ensure all environmental reporting requirements are met,including timely submittal to the regulator, including but not limited to: EPARMP updates, EPCRA Form R, EPCRA Tier II, Annual Emissions Inventory,Greenhouse Gas Reports, and Discharge Monitoring Reports
Ensure all environmental recordkeeping requirements fromthe permit and applicable regulations are met, including tracking of emissions,inspections, control device monitoring and preventative maintenance.
Support and coordinate training with the learningorganization as required by ISO system requirements, environmental permits orregulations, including development of environmental training content andconducting training, including, but not limited to hazardous waste managementand storm water pollution prevention.
Support roadmap creation for carbon reduction,electrification, energy efficiency and waste management
Monthly reporting of sustainability KPI's with detailedanalysis of performance and areas of attention
Lead cross functional teams to identify improvementopportunities 
Support Site with accurate information regarding plant'sEnvironmental and Sustainability performance
Manage the Environmental and Sustainability portion of alldigital solutions.

QualificationsRequired:

Bachelor of Science inEnvironmental Sciences or Environmental Management preferred
ISO 50001 and ISO 14001 system experience required
A minimum of three years of experience in environmentalmanagement with working knowledge of EPA regulations under the Clean Air Act,Clean Water Act, and Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA).
Previous experience managing environmental complianceprograms
Background in energy management and good knowledge on wastemanagement
Software skills: Microsoft Office Excel and Power Point
Strong organizational skills, communication andcollaboration 
Ability to communicate and interact with all levels of theOrganization '
