Estimated Duration:12+ months with possible extensions
Work Setting: 100% on Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client
Requirements:
• Availability to work at the Client’s site in Juno Beach, FL (required);
• Experience as a GIS Developer (5-7 years);
• Business, Application and Data Architecture experience;
• Experience defining roadmaps and standards;
• Experience with design solutions that include business innovation and transformation, improved process workflows, UI/UX;
• Experience decomposing a business request into meaningful capabilities and processes;
• Successfully demonstrated leadership experience;
• Experience with agile, fast-paced, dynamic project environments;
• Hands-on experience with application development, system configuration, and support;
• Experience with Esri Platform cloud deployments (3+ years, preferred);
• Hands-on implementation experience in AWS for Esri Solutions (preferred);
• Experience with GIS best practices and functionality (preferred);
• Experience with designing/supporting Enterprise Imagery Services and Analytics best practices (preferred);
• Applicable AWS Certifications (preferred);
• Kubernetes or Docker Certification (preferred);
• High School Grad / GED and 5+ years of experience or Bachelor's
Responsibilities:
• Works with business partners to analyze strategy, spatial requirements, and trends to define the requirements, principles, and models that guide technology decisions
• Communicates and enforces technology standards with business partners
• Understands industry trends and the practical application of existing, new, and emerging technologies
• Drives digital innovation and develops roadmaps through new technologies and approaches to fulfill strategic business plans
• Defines high-level migration plans to address gaps in current state
• Coaches, mentors, and leads subject matters experts to enable and drive consistency across technology architectures
• Designs and owns governance, assurance, and standards activities for enterprise technology architecture compliance
• Oversees and facilitates the evaluation, risk assessment, selection, and design of hardware and software technology and product standards
• Delivers technology architecture artifacts, possibly including reference architectures or concepts of operation
• Installs, configures and optimizes Enterprise GIS Solutions
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
• Administers and troubleshoots Enterprise GIS
• Oversees the translation of design into deliverables via implementation and deployment•
