As a Senior Engineer, Business Intelligence and Reporting, you will be part of Fidelity Fund & Investment Operations (FFIO) Analytics and Reporting team focused on creating complex dashboards and reports, maintain connections to data and semantic layers, deploy reports and dashboards to production, and platform support for all the reporting platforms such as Tableau, Power BI and OBIEE.
The Responsibilities of this role
- Perform Proof of Concept (POC) for new tools in the semantic and reporting layers.
- Platform and infrastructure support for BI Tools such as Tableau, OBIEE and Power BI.
- Create & maintain connections to the data layer.
- Regression testing server upgrades and patches.
- Deploy Reports, Dashboards, changes to semantic layer.
- L3 Support for BI Tools
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- 5 years+ of demonstrated ability in data analytics, data visualization, and Business Intelligence
- Expertise working with BI/Reporting toolsets including Tableau, OBIEE and Power BI
- Experience with technology platforms such as Snowflake AWS and Oracle RDS
- Comfortable constructing SQLs against Snowflake and Oracle databases
- Proficient in building and publishing reports and dashboards
- Familiarity with creating Power BI workspaces and OBIEE RPDs
- Ability to partner closely with a diverse set of business collaborators to deliver reporting solutions.
- Experience working in a Scaled Agile environment.
- Excellent team player with great communication and collaboration skills.
