Job Description
Come join our Advanced Composite Manufacturing facility supporting F35, LRASM, Firetip and other key BAE antenna/aperture products in the role of Manufacturing Quality Engineer. Responsibilities & Expectations:
Assure monitoring and control ProcessDocumentation and Inspection Plans, including input to and approval of.
Execute Quality Plan in accordance with Customer Requirements
Disposition Nonconforming Material and ensure Corrective Action is taken
Assure compliance to AS9100 QMS through Audits and Factory Surveillance
Execute First Article Inspection in accordance with QMS and AS9102, with report preparation and data collection support
Support AS9145 compliance through collaboration with factory team on PPAP artifact creation, approval, and maintenance
Drive COPQ reduction projects to reduce defects and subsequent rework and scrap *Dashboard Tools
Participate in and facilitate FactoryQuality Reviews, CABs and CARBs
Facilitate Corrective Action process associated with Manufacturing issues
Collaborate with Process Engineering on the implementation of control methods such as SPC, and support associated reaction plans
Monitor and contribute to 7S program compliance
Sits on Floor, NPI/MFG transition, IPI/FA Inspection criteria
Correct Identification and collaboration with SQ,PQ
Ensure Control Plan for Processes and control of configuration management

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of manufacturing work experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead time in Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) activities
  • Strong and Demonstrated Communication Skills (written, verbal, visual) and interpersonal skills (listening and communicating within a group/team environment)
  • Demonstrated teamwork contribution
  • Demonstrated customer facing interaction and experience
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team with measurable results
  • Ability to work independently and with little or no direct oversight
  • Attention to detail
  • Produce high quality work in a fast paced, dynamic work environment
  • Material Review Board and Failure Review Board Experience
  • Proficient in MS Office Products including Word, Excel, Power Point
  • Experience with AS9102- First Article Inspection

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Degree in engineering discipline
  • 8D RCCA Process and Quality Science Tools for problem Solving, Data Analysis and Continuous improvement
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
  • Knowledge and experience executing to AS9100 QMS and AS9102
  • Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEAs, Control Plans, MSAs, Process Capability Studies, DOEs, Fishbone/RC Tools, FA Skills and ability to facilitate

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $92290 - $156860
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
