Job Description
The position is at a tech company. As a Senior Employee Relations Manager, you will oversee the whole performance management function, designing strategic procedures and collaborating directly with our people managers and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Own the performance management function, including developing structures, advice, trainings, and templates for the performance review process.
- Manage the yearly performance evaluation cycle.
- Work directly with people managers to coach, train, and develop their employees with empathy and impartiality.
- Oversee and apply our performance management systems to ensure accuracy and accountability.
- Use data to analyze and act on trends and themes.
- Collaborate with our global People Business Partner team to handle the probationary process and other global projects uniformly and efficiently throughout the enterprise.
- Develop and provide customized training for personnel on performance management themes, such as effective coaching, challenging talks, interpersonal conflict, and providing effective feedback.
- Facilitate and assist resolve interpersonal problems amongst employees.
- Lead the separation process for performance-based departures.
- Analyze and improve performance management programs to provide a great employee experience.
Qualifications
- Ten years of performance management experience.
- Exceptional interpersonal abilities, including the ability to swiftly establish rapport and trust across organizational boundaries.
- Experience creating and designing effective performance management programs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Practical familiarity in understanding and efficiently utilizing data
- Effective project management abilities to successfully lead multi-departmental efforts to completion
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
- Ability to collaborate with and influence personnel at all levels of a business.
- Technically adept with Google and Office Suite.
- Problem solver and strategic thinker with sound judgment.
- Open to experimenting with new and innovative methods of working.

Pay: $117k to 180k annually
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $117,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
