Position Summary
EBI Consulting is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Project Manager/Senior Project Manager to assist EBI’s clients with achieving and maintaining environmental compliance at several facilities located within the greater Boston area. The ideal candidate should be passionate about the ever-changing world of environmental, health & safety, and possess a strong understanding of state and federal environmental regulations. This is a full-time salaried position, and the EHS Project Manager/Senior Project Manager will report to the Director of EHS. This will be a work from home position with the understanding ~50% of the time will need to be on site at the client’s facilities in the Boston area.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide clients with guidance on environmental compliance, permitting and submittals.
- Develop environmental compliance programs (SPCC, SWPPP, RCRA, etc.)
- Perform multi-media audits of industrial and commercial properties.
- Communicate directly with both existing and potential clients
- Perform quarterly webinars on pertinent topics relevant to our clients
- Manage a large client portfolio containing multiple properties
- Perform trainings at client facilities, conduct facility audits, and guide clients towards regulatory compliance
- Ensuring client satisfaction and regulatory compliance while growing account revenue and maintaining profitability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure delivery of the right solutions to our clients
- Work with other managers within the business unit to drive improvements and increase efficiency
- Stay up-to-date with the latest regulation changes and participate in client outreach to promote awareness
- Represent EBI at networking events and conferences
- Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and partners as needed
Qualifications and Capabilities
- Bachelor’s Degree from accredited university in environmental science, engineering, or related field. A Professional Engineer certification is a plus
- 7+ years of professional experience in consulting, with proven quality performance
- Working knowledge of New England state’s air quality permitting, EPA refrigerant rules, NAAQS and NESHAP standards, Mass DEP Environmental Results Program and Environmental Justice standards
- Experience with dispersion modeling (EPA Aermod), EPA Risk Management Planning, and DOT training a plus
- Strong understanding of Massachusetts Water Resources Authority policies and New England state’s industrial wastewater discharge permitting
- Experience preparing EPCRA Tier 2 and Toxic Release reporting (Form R), and experience with Mass TURP a plus
- Proficient with Stormwater Pollution Prevention and Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure Planning preparation and guidance
- Strong understanding of marketing automation platforms, such as Pardot, and Salesforce
- Ability to draft stormwater pollution prevention plans and permits, as well as SPCC plans
- Knowledge of Hazardous Waste Management regulations, and experience drafting contingency plans
- Experience submitting Flammable Storage permit with Fire Marshall Dept.
