Key job responsibilities

- Articulating how product results impact downstream technical adoption and support our overall product strategy
- Driving cross-functional program success, from goal setting across teams, through technical design, testing and launch
- Leading multi-functional teams through both tactical and strategic decision points, understanding dependencies, risks and mitigations
- Defining measures of success
- Communicating program risks, updates and forward-looking plans to senior leadership and partner teams
- Defining strategy for the long term while executing against a live program in the near term
You check in with teams developing products, talking to technical leads and engineers. Unexpected results in a recent test lead you to dig in to understand the issue better, huddle with relevant engineers and partner teams to formulate hypotheses for the issue, and test to validate them. Working with technical leads, you add roadmap items to validate hypotheses in the next development sprint, informing downstream customers of potential impact. You then write a document for senior leadership, focusing on recent progress and major decisions made, defining measures of success, elevating risks and how you plan to mitigate them.
