PURPOSE
The purpose of the Sr. EEG Technologist is to perform standard Electroencephalogram and special procedures when required by the physician. Under the supervision of a neurologist, performs EEGs in the laboratory and at the bedside of hospital patients and of critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit. He/she is also responsible for the day-to-day operations of the department.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Education and Work Experience:
Must possess a high school diploma or GED
Board Certification or A.A. degree preferred
At least 5 years experience performing EEG/EP testing.
Graduate of an accredited Electroneurodiagnostic Technology program.
