- Provide environmental enrichment feed and other enrichment stimuli and/or behavioral assessments and, based off training, may provide technical assistance to non-human primates.
- Provide technical support (e.g., animal handling and restraint, weaning, tail snips, ear tagging, blood and other tissues sample collection, injections, treatments, dosage calculations, surgical preparation, pre-, peri-, and post-operative observations) and assist with research procedures, as well as weaning and genotype sample collection.
- Maintain accurate records of animal breeding, health, and housing or support areas, as well as cleaning and sanitation of animal facility and equipment.
- Participate in interviewing process for new hire of technical staff and provide technical support and training to coworkers as needed. Assist with QA of technical staff in designated areas.
- Review, comprehend, and comply with all SOPs and quality assurance standards pertaining to specific areas.
The pay range for this position is $27 to $31 USD per hour. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
