Title:Senior DirectorPayments Intelligence

Location: Remote - USA - with up to 20% travel

Reports to: Vice President and General Manager – Financial Services

The Role:

This is a key role in the Payments Practice within the Financial Services Intelligence Group, with a focus on POS (point of sale), digital wallets, P2P, BNPL and debit cards. The preferred candidate will collaborate with J.D. Power team members and clients to drive performance improvement solutions at payments companies throughout North America. As a trusted adviser to leading payments firms, the successful candidate will be a dynamic force for change serving to identify mission-critical issues and deliver solutions that make a meaningful difference for our clients and the industry.

In this role, you will identify improvement opportunities instrumental to firms competing effectively in a rapidly evolving payments industry. What You'll Be Doing in This Role:

  • Work closely with senior management at payments companies to identify and implement improvement opportunities through analysis and interpretation of customer experience benchmark studies, deep dive surveys and ongoing voice of the customer feedback programs.
  • Develop findings, insights and recommendations for payments companies based on in-depth customer satisfaction surveys.
  • Deliver in-person presentations to senior executives at payments companies.
  • Present payments thought leadership through articles, webinars and at conferences.
  • Support business develop efforts, including scoping potential sales opportunities, attending meetings, and assisting with sales proposals.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to provide needs-based solutions to clients.
  • Work with J.D. Power colleagues and customer to create new surveys and update existing surveys.
  • Remain in front of payments industry changes, seek client feedback, and chart J.D. Power's course as a leader in payments industry insights.
  • Travel required.

Qualifications of this Role:

  • Minimum 10 years of payments industry or related experience.
  • Background in customer experience preferred.
  • Strong presentation skills - experience presenting to internal and external audiences.
  • Ability to translate data into a story.
  • Strong writing skills, including articles, whitepapers and research reports.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel and data analytics tools.
  • Bachelor's Degree from a college or university.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% - US and Canada
