The Role in Brief:

Senior Director, Partner Success, Audience Solutions

The Senior Director, Partner Success works across Enroll360 leadership and is accountable for the success of our partners in achieving their enrollment goals, Strategic Leader performance and growth, as well as partner retention and revenue growth resulting from satisfied long-term partnerships and growth achieved via cross-sells and upsells.  As a leader in the division, this role integrates/aligns/implements Partner Success strategies with all parts of our business, helps develop pricing strategies, offers guidance on the marketing innovation roadmap, executes company’s partner engagement strategies through consultative development of Partner Success team, and acts as a senior-level contact for partners and stakeholders throughout the marketplace.

The role requires strong management and coaching skills as well as highly proficient consultative and commercial talents. The ideal candidate will have broad higher education industry and institutional knowledge plus senior-level partner and team management experience in a complex growth environment.

The role is open to remote candidates in the continental United States. Some travel to facilitate the building of partner relationships and the deep understanding of marketplace needs is required.

 

Primary Responsibilities: 

Revenue Management

  • Drive strong partner results across the portfolio by leveraging EAB Audience Generation and Direct Admissions assets to create and oversee strategies that are highly effective as well as by consulting carefully with important partners to ensure results are as strong as possible
  • Deliver outstanding partnership renewal rates from assigned portfolio – accountable for assigned Partner Success Managers meeting targets for profitable partner retention and revenues, market share, and other key financial performance objectives
  • Actively serve and manage key partner relationships, specifically forging rapport trust with senior level administrators
  • Oversee the process of collecting and organizing analytical data related to revenue and product ROI. 
  • Monitor market trends across programs and drive product strategy by acting as a voice of the market and thought partner to broader leadership.
  • Forecast, track and communicate key partner account and team metrics
  • Create and demonstrate partner results that improve each individual Partner Success and return on investment, leading to persistent and growing partner relationships
  • Be active in the higher education industry and stay abreast of partners’ businesses and firm’s competitors to inform our competitive positioning in the marketplace

 

Leadership & Management

  • Oversee assigned Partner Success Manager team and guide the strategic vision, growth and scale, including recruiting and building top talent through effective leadership and talent management practices
  • Provide leadership throughout Partner Success Manager and Strategic Leadership teams while fostering a culture of service, accountability, professional development, and high-performance
  • Develop Partner Success Manager team to deliver world-class consultations, presentations and demonstrations to prospects, partners, and internal business leaders
  • Fosters collaboration inside MES (across departments and divisions) to ensure implementation of partner-based strategies and solutions
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to maximize partner outreach and acquisition activities
  • Champion functional change initiatives and remove obstacles impeding constructive organizational change

 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or relevant field
  • 8+ years highly successful client management experience, including 4+ years managing teams
  • Proven business acumen, planning and execution skills
  • Financial acumen and related skills such as budget planning, pricing strategies, client/revenue forecasting models
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully retaining clients and growing relationships and revenues via cross-sell and upsell strategies
  • Effective client communications skills and experience providing clients proactive leadership and consultative insight on short- and long-term strategic decisions
  • Proven ability to effectively manage highly visible and influential relationships throughout the industry, partner institutions, and all levels of an organization
  • Ability to work well in a highly matrixed organization and develop highly collaborative relationships
  • Effective people leadership skills with successful track record of attracting, optimizing and retaining talent
  • Willingness to travel approximately 10% of time

  • Advanced degree
  • Direct response marketing and higher education experience
  • EAB institutional knowledge and experience
