A well-established Queens, New York based Dialysis Management Services company is seeking a Full-Time Senior Director of Revenue Cycle Operations to provide a full range of moderate to complex duties/responsibilities as we enter a new phase of growth.

Job Summary:
- Manages, directs and coordinates activities of personnel engaged in the Revenue Cycle, including billing, collecting, and admissions.
- Works with the dialysis center administrators and other department managers to enhance the efficiency of the Revenue Cycle process, the charge master, denials management, and reimbursement issues.
- Oversees the continuous process improvement of Revenue initiatives utilizing key internal data.
- Coordinates and collaborates with leadership to ensure timely resolution to Revenue Cycle issues.
- Tracks Revenue Cycle metrics and associated benchmarks to identify and replicate best practice improvement opportunities.
- Reports directly to ownership.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for personnel management of Revenue Cycle Management Office in College Point including but not limited to: Payroll, scheduling, training, counseling, evaluations and disciplinary action.
- Generates activity reports for the purpose of monitoring the Revenue Cycle personnel and Revenue Cycle efficiency.
- Benchmarks the ongoing accounts receivables and work with staff when key indicators show benchmarks are not being attained.
- Directs and controls the charge master.
- identify, examine, and analyze patterns of rejections, partial denials, or denials from third party payers and implement changes.
- Monitors the unbilled accounts, works with the Billing Manager to minimize the unbilled accounts.
- Works with center administrators to enhance the charging process, to enhance reimbursement, decrease denials.
- Review charges for accuracy and completeness of procedural and diagnostic codes.
- Consults with management and initiates changes in procedure with approval.
- Acts as a resource in the development of accurate charge capture tools.
- Prepares, where necessary and appropriate, the Revenue Cycle office budgets
- Manages the admission process to ensure accuracy of admission, timeliness of admission, medical necessity compliance, and financial policy compliance.
- Degree in Management or Finance. BA/BS required, MBA preferred.
Experience:
- 5+ years of progressive Revenue Cycle management experience in a healthcare environment, preferably within the dialysis industry.
- Strong computer skills
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- At least 3 years of experience supervising staff of at least 10 or more people.
- Must have an intricate understanding of medical billing and interaction with insurance company reimbursements.
- Must interact with accounting department and have understanding of financial aspects of Revenue Cycle.
- An intimate knowledge of the QMS/QCS system is a significant advantage.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $81,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
