Form of workThe Director for Professional Billing for Hematology/Medical Oncology of The Tisch Cancer Institute (TCI) will provide administrative oversight of all aspects of Revenue Cycle associated with the Professional Billing of ~85 physicians and ~75 nurse practitioners across six practice sites in Manhattan. Responsibilities include management of insurance credentialing, insurance verification/authorization, maximization of charge entry and reimbursement, reporting and data analysis and regulatory compliance. In addition to working collaboratively with Heme/Med Onc providers, the Director will work closely with Mount Sinai colleagues in the Central Billing Office, Finance, and Oncology Hospital Administration. Direct reports include a Revenue Cycle Manager and 8 billing coordinators.
