Looma exists to inspire, educate, and humanize the shopping experience. Our first product, Loop™, is an in-store network of screens that play short videos focused on storytelling and education. The content for this platform is powered by our second product, Relay™, a marketplace of filmmakers and other creators who specialize in point-of-decision content.
Loop™ is currently in pilots with a few national retailers that would require us to dramatically scale up our offering along several dimensions. Most significantly, we'll need to win over a new tier of brand partner-enterprise CPG brands worth $1B+ - by persuading them to enthusiastically partner with us on a point-of-decision content strategy that often feels quite different from their standard approaches for TV, web, and social.
Position Summary
Looma's Director of Content Sales will be our lead content evangelist to our brand partners, with a particular focus on enterprise brands. You'll educate brands on their need for optimized point-of-decision video content - on Loop™ and beyond - and quickly cultivate relationships of trust and respect with sales and marketing executives. For specific campaigns, you'll design and pitch content strategies to develop beautiful, impactful films that align both with Looma's unscripted, human-centric approach and our brands' marketing objectives. Ultimately, your efforts will enable Looma to become these brands' dominant provider of point-of-decision video over the coming years.
We are strongly prioritizing candidates with an understanding of the CPG space (or comparable) and its organizational and budgetary dynamics. A firm belief in our educational storytelling model - as opposed to traditional advertising - is essential.
The responsibilities for this role can be split into three primary categories:
- Content Strategy and Sales (50%)
