ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior Director, Media and Organic Discovery is responsible for driving efficient subscriber growth through media, digital creative, and SEO. The person in this role obsesses over performance and understands how to build a strategy and optimize touchpoints through the funnel- from reaching the right audiences to driving consideration and conversion.
To be successful, the ideal candidate must possess a breadth of technical and interpersonal skills. They are experienced in leading teams, building strategies, driving innovation, analyzing results, and influencing cross-functional partners in a matrixed organization.
This role reports into the VP, Growth Marketing and will lead a team of 21. They will work closely with external agency partners (media + creative) and cross-functional teams across the company including Finance, eComm, Marketing Analytics, Creative, and Product Marketing.
YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON
- Accountable for driving incremental subscriber growth at an efficient LTV:CAC
- Oversee Connected Fitness and App media strategy
- Support annual and quarterly planning, ensuring that budget, media mix, and flighting are optimized across and within audiences, products, and channels
- Lead team of integrated media planners, channel strategists, and growth creative strategists to deliver insights-driven media plans and creative to reach and engage Peloton prospects across touchpoints
- Partner with agencies across full-funnel channel execution (TV, OTT, Social, Search, etc)
- Partner with Marketing Analytics, media teams, and agencies to continuously improve performance via analysis and robust test and learn
- Oversee Organic Discovery
- Lead team of SEO strategists to develop content roadmap and technical improvements to improve traffic and conversion on onepeloton.com in collaboration with eComm and Editorial
- Build out strategy to capture organic fitness interest on other content platforms
- Partner with eComm to optimize lead capture and conversion rate for paid and Organic traffic
- Deliver plans and performance updates to cross-functional partners and senior leadership
YOU BRING TO PELOTON
- 12+ years of Media and SEO experience; deep understanding of platforms, audience activation, digital creative best practices, measurement, and technology trends
- Proven track record of driving results; experience working for subscription company strong plus
- Experienced team leader who knows how to motivate and support high-performing team members
- Analytical mindset and ability to identify data-informed insights
- High level of proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (Looker experience a bonus)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent project management skills with attention to detail and organization
- Flexible mindset; comfort operating in a fluid environment
- BA degree required; MBA a plus
