Summary of the Position:
As the Senior Director, Financial Crimes Compliance and Investigations you will be serve as head of Tishman Speyer's Financial Crimes Compliance (FCC) Program. An independent self-starter responsible for maintaining, updating and testing the Firm's global Financial Crimes (anti-corruption, AML and sanctions) policies and procedures, including third party risk management, Know Your Customer requirements, transactional due diligence, new business transactions, joint ventures and hiring practices. In this position you must possess strong interpersonal skills to work with different departments and regions to maintain and, where possible, strengthen the FCC Program. The successful candidate must also be comfortable with ambiguity, making judgment calls and cultivating relationships with the business. In this role you will be regarded as a trusted advisor by stakeholders around the firm.
Responsibilities:

  • Assess various types of business transactions for Financial Crimes related risks and, to the extent possible, remediate those risks.
  • Manage compliance systems used for Financial Crimes purposes.
  • Train employees globally on Financial Crimes risks.
  • Conduct investigations into allegations or concerns of employee or third-party misconduct pertaining to the Financial Crimes program.

What we look for:
  • J.D. required.
  • Prior experience at a large firm, with experience conducting internal investigations.
  • Litigation and/or experience with regulators (SEC or DOJ) preferred.
  • Strong understanding of anti-corruption laws, including the FCPA.

*Onsite presence is required for this position
The base compensation range for this role is $200,000 - $240,000. This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, as well as access to our comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, life and disability insurance, 401(k) plan (with matching contributions), wellness benefits and all other benefits afforded to full-time Tishman Speyer employees.
This base range reflects a number of factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skill sets, and/or licensure required of an individual in this particular role. The base range is also specific to members of Tishman Speyer's New Yor team, as we've considered factors specific to this geography.
