The Opportunity

One Medical for Business (OM4B) partners with employers to offer their employees convenient access to One Medical providers through unlimited on-demand virtual care, remote primary care, and in-person visits in 29 markets. Our advanced primary care model promotes wellness and prevention with integrated chronic, behavioral, pediatric, and acute care support. Prestigious employers such as NASDAQ, PwC, Airbnb, and Pinterest consider us core to their benefits strategy. To advance Strategy and commercialization decisions that maximize our future potential, we are looking for a Senior Director, Commercial Strategy & Insights to join our team. Reporting to the VP of Commercial Strategy and Operations, you will be responsible for driving the strategy for new client acquisition and membership growth. This includes decision-making across the entire client lifecycle - from market segmentation and targeting, to field force design, and ongoing optimization of client performance. The team you lead will diagnose, investigate, and predict future needs to realize revenue growth and inform organizational investments in new capabilities. In addition, you will support prioritizing and capturing shared growth opportunities with Amazon Business and AWS.

Self-motivated and comfortable navigating ambiguous situations, you have an ability to drive decision making in complex environments. With a strategic mindset, you routinely balance the needs of multiple stakeholders to recommend a path forward to senior leadership. What you'll likely work on:

  • Lead strategic, cross functional initiatives that improve sales performance, membership growth, and clinical engagement
  • Develop go to market segmentation, targeting, and team deployment; ensure incentive compensation programs are designed to meet evolving business objectives
  • Support ongoing planning and forecasting efforts in collaboration with Finance and OM4B leadership
  • Build and communicate C-suite recommendations on organizational priorities and cross functional growth investments
  • Demonstrate the impact One Medical has on individuals and populations through storytelling and quantified outcomes
  • Represent our team's priorities in efforts to democratize data access and build scalable analytics capabilities

What you'll need:

  • 10+ years commercial growth experience in strategy, analytics, or consulting roles; 8+ years will be considered if a minimum of 3 years experience comes from a top tier strategy consulting firm
  • 3+ years experience designing GTM strategy for a national B2B sales and client success team
  • Experience leading cross functional growth initiatives through indirect oversight rather than direct management
  • Deep expertise in analytical tools (SQL, Excel, Tableau, etc.)
  • Experience managing analytics teams
  • Flexible thinking and an ability to adapt in an evolving and growing organization
  • A passion to improve healthcare and the patient experience

Not required, but would be great if you also had:

  • Strategy consulting
  • Experience in the healthcare industry

This is a full-time hybrid role requiring the candidate to live within commutable distance to NYC, San Francisco or Seattle.

The base salary range for this role is $145,500 to $258,000 annually. However, actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate. These factors include, but are not limited to, job related knowledge and skill set, depth of experience, certifications and/or degrees, and specific work location.

The total compensation package for certain roles may also include additional components such as a sign-on bonus, annual performance bonus, equity grants in the form of RSUs, medical and other benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
