The Senior Director, Actuarial Services - Provider Economics, is responsible for the provider analytics and strategic planning for IEHP provider network and its payment model that will guide the short-term and long-term network and contracting strategies for the organization. The Senior Director is responsible for developing and overseeing a team of seasoned individual contributors and leaders and will maintain strong relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders to execute network and contracting strategic initiatives that align Mission, Vision, and Values of IEHP.

Education & Experience

• A minimum of ten (10) or more years of actuarial experience with health insurance and managed care experience.                
• Five (5) years of managing experience is required.                                                                                                            
• Bachelor’s degree in business and/or STEM from an accredited institution required.                                                              

Key Qualifications 

• Expert Knowledge in:
• Healthcare financing between health plans, providers, state government (Medicaid),
• federal government (CMS), County government, and members.
• Government programs such as Medi-Cal and Medicare.
• Commercial health insurance products (large group, small group, individual). 
• Actuarial product development and provider contracting.
•  Provider performance analytics.
