WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for a Senior Director, Color Design for the Global Women's Apparel business. This role is an important member of the Womens team working to build the future look of Nike Womens and bring the brand's creative vision to life by leading a color design team to implement and deliver a trend-leading, consumer driven product strategy.
Candidates need to have a strong understanding of the Apparel landscape across fashion, sportswear and fitness as well as market and consumer insights. Combined with experience operating as an enterprise leader of dynamic and diverse teams. They will need to be an expert in creative direction, trend and cultural acuity as well as have the knowledge of how to build strategy and bring it to life.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
If this is you, you will collaboratively set creative direction and define an evergreen design approach for one or more dimensions within the Women's Business. Your scope will have high complexity across teams, business, project, etc. requiring high profile communication of creative vision and brand direction to team and collaborators (internal and external).
As part of managing a creative team, you will be responsible for the team's overall efficiency, setting team and individual goals, succession planning (including your role), and segmentation activities. You will also be responsible for performance management, pay, and resourcing decisions for direct and indirect reports.
You will collaborate and influence Design and Brand leadership, Product, Merchandising, and Development partners which will require you to have excellent influencing, negotiating, and prioritization skills.

You will report to the Senior Creative Director who leads all aspects of Color for the Women's Business across Apparel and Footwear.
You will work with Athletes, Brand, Central Color, Design Triad, Development, Innovation, Insights, Product, Merchandising, Manufacturing, Marketplace, Mentors, Operations and Sustainability teams as your key partners.

WHAT YOU BRING
- BA/BFA/MA/MFA preferred (2 additional years of relevant design experience in lieu of a degree)
- Design experience: 10+ years
- Requiring creative and team leadership, variety of experience (consumer/segment/dimensions)
- Create and influence culture
- Enterprise leadership
- Digital design skills (design-based software needed: Creative Suite, 3D tools a plus but not required)
- Leading product creation while using 3D capabilities
- Master of make and manufacturing
- Master presentation and communication skills
