Job description

We enforce the laws by setting a standard of fair and expeditious resolution of claims to achieve long-term compliance from the employers of the State of California. By providing education and meaningful enforcement of wage and hour laws, we combat wage theft and ensure that wages earned are put into the pockets of the workers.
As part of the WCA team, we are committed to providing guidance, inspiration and support to enrich your work and our ability to succeed in enforcing labor laws. We want you to be successful in your career.
Under the direction of the Deputy Labor Commissioner IV (Regional Manager), the Deputy Labor Commissioner III (Senior Deputy) plans, organizes and directs the work of the Labor Commissioner's Wage Claims Adjudication Unit for a local district office.
