About the Team: 

The IT Enterprise Database Technologies team takes care of the administration and management of the Database environment globally in ZF. It supports operational excellence as well as different IT projects, focusing on enterprise-class, relational, and non-relation DB technologies such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL, or MongoDB. It's an international team, passionate about IT technologies, with a strong knowledge-sharing culture and a positive working environment.

What you can look forward to as a Senior Database Administrator:

• Providing support for the ZF relational and non-relational database environment worldwide (DB deployments, migrations, performance tuning, etc.)
• Cooperating with users in solving problems related to the use of database systems
• Supporting IT business projects by providing technical expertise on database-related issues to other IT functions and application systems owners.
• Monitoring IT infrastructure using corporate tools and providing a proactive response to the incidents as they arise
• Preparing technical documentation of the supported systems
• Keeping the environment secure by applying relevant patches, mitigating discovered vulnerabilities
• Designing and Implementing HA Solutions
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Your Profile as a Senior Database Administrator:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related technical field
• 3-6+ years of related experience
• IT administration knowledge/experience in at least one of the Database Management technologies: Oracle, MS SQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL.
  • Knowledge of more than one technology would be an asset.
• Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms (Windows/Linux) including IT fundamentals in the networking, security, backup/recovery areas 
• Customer-oriented way of working
• Ability to work in a global team and environment
