Position Summary

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for leveraging data to extract valuable insights, inform decision-making, and drive business growth. Your role will involve analyzing user behavior, game performance, and other data sources to help our clients enhance their gaming experiences. We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst who can bring industry-specific knowledge to the table and contribute to the success of our SaaS solutions in the gaming sector.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

The Senior Data Analyst is responsible for the following functions and responsibilities:

  • Perform in-depth analysis of user data, game performance metrics, and other relevant datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain data models and dashboards to visualize and present data-driven insights to both internal teams and external clients.
  • Work closely with gaming industry clients to understand their specific data requirements and provide customized insights and recommendations.
  • Create and deliver regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, highlighting trends and providing actionable insights.
  • Design and analyze A/B tests to evaluate the impact of changes to game features, user interfaces, and other variables on player behavior.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity by implementing data validation and quality control measures.
  • Collaborate with our technical teams to integrate data analytics solutions into our SaaS platform, ensuring seamless data collection and analysis.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analysis, particularly within the gaming and SaaS sectors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, computer science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in data analysis, including data preprocessing, analysis, and visualization.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Grafana).
  • Working knowledge of techniques needed to efficiently process large amounts of data. Ensure data quality and integrity by applying data validation and cleaning techniques.
  • Familiarity with gaming analytics platforms and concepts such as player retention, engagement, and monetization.
  • Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • A passion for data-driven decision-making and a commitment to delivering actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in written and verbal English language to succeed in a remote work environment
  • Flexibility to adjust to work routines/schedules, as required, to meet the needs of the company and expectations of customers
