Senior Credit Analyst (debt capital markets).
Hybrid
New York, NY.
Requires: Minimum 3 years of Credit Analyst experience in high-yield or
leveraged finance markets (in sell-side, buy-side or third-party
research firms).

Responsibilities of the Senior Credit Analyst:
- Analysis as either a generalist or specialized in a particular
sector, conduct deep dives into High Yield earnings reports, provide
financial updates on specific credits, review new deals and produce
market-leading thematic research
- Relationship & product evangelism Support clients, answer
questions on the companys platform, and provide insight. Gather
feedback and work with the product team to develop the companys
offering, taking the lead on new and exciting developments
- Coverage While the majority of the data consumed at the company is
automated, analysts are responsible for setting up their workflows,
auditing, and sense-checking the information presented to clients.
Take pride, ensuring your coverage is up-to-date, accurate, and
complete
- Training and development alongside building your own expertise,
use your knowledge to help the firms growing analyst team develop
their skills. This may also include line management, providing daily
guidance, motivation, and feedback
Qualifications of the Senior Credit Analyst:
- 3+ years of Credit Analyst experience in high-yield or leveraged
finance markets. This may be via sell-side, buy-side or third-party
research firms
- Strong communication demonstrate clear and effective written and
verbal communication, producing clean, timely, and accurate copy in
a concise manner.
- Exhibit excellent attention to detail
- Problem-solving skills: ability to interpret information and
construct effective solutions to complex problems.
- Must be a team player, but also able to effectively work
independently
- Driven Bring an inquisitive and passionate mindset, demonstrating
a strong interest in the development and dynamics of financial (and
especially) capital markets.
- A self-starter, you should be up for the challenge of a role that
will morph and transform as the firm continues to grow
- Experience mentoring junior analysts is a plus.
