Perform financial property analysis for the Commerical Real Estate portfolios (New York, California and Florida) with high accuracy in a fast paced environment for both prospects and existing customers. Enter property level information, net operating income, rent rolls for all tenants and appraisal data in Moody's Risk Analyst application. Spreading of financial statements and compilation of borrower information from various internal systems in support of the lending function.
- Provide back-up to the C&I credit analayst team, monthly reporting consisting of pledging to the FHLB for the commercial and real estate portfolios including assessment of eligibility, calculations based on property and loan data.
- Research credit worthiness using resources such as Dun and Bradstreet reports, industry information, and other resources
- Mentor and develop junior analysts to increase level of knowledge and improve quality of output.
- Investigate and resolve account officer inquiries and requested revisions.Implement best practices and process improvement where appropriate
- Ensure that all work processed meets audit and compliance requirements
- Participate in department projects and initiatives as required
- Assist in testing and implementation of system enhancements as required
- Prepare and circulate departmental reports as assigned.

- Minimum 3 years experience in a commercial real estate credit evaluation environment.
- Knowledge of Income Producing Real Estate property phases, i.e., Construction, Lease-Up and Stablized.
Minimum 1-2 years experience in developing junior analysts
BS degree in Accounting / Finance or business related field
- Working knowledge of commercial credit systems as well as corporate financial systems (i.e., Loans and Deposit Balances, Collateral & Doc Tracking).
- Proficient in MS Office and other productivity software tools with a minimum intermediate level knowledge of Excel including aptitude working with large data pools. Knowledge of Moody's Risk Analyst financial statement spreading software is a plus.
Excellent research and analytical capabilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and comfort working with and supporting the Business Units
- Familiarity with legal documentation is a plus
Compensation
The expected annual base salary for this position is between $100,000 - $140,000 at the start of employment. A salary offer is determined on an individualized basis, taking into consideration factors such as an individual's skills, experience, and book of business.
