Rescue is a full-service marketing agency with a mission to make healthy behaviors easier and more appealing. Since our founding in 2001, Rescue has been exclusively focused on researching, developing, and implementing positive social change campaigns in public health. We provide research, strategy, creative, production, web, traditional media, social media, policy change, youth engagement and experiential marketing services to government, non-profit, and healthcare clients in over 35 states and provinces, as well as to federal government agencies.
Rescue’s health behavior change marketing campaigns focus on topics such as tobacco, obesity, substance and alcohol prevention; the promotion of exercise, eating healthy foods, early childhood development, and after school programs; and other topics that promote healthy living. Rescue’s behavior change campaigns focus on diverse populations within teen (13 - 17), young adult (18 - 26), and adult (18+) populations in both rural and urban areas, resulting in a wide variety of campaign styles and strategies.

The Job
We are looking for a dynamic, high performing Senior Creative Operations Manager with experience in implementing creative tools and processes. The ideal candidate has a passion for behavior change, a history of identifying blockers, and is capable of managing a big-picture view on timelines and moving work through the department. You will employ your knowledge of the creative process to develop department specific SOPs. You will hone in on the most efficient processes and ensure buy- in and cooperation from the creative leaders and team at large.
With a remote environment in mind, you will help implement technology tools to speed workflows, build training documentation and tracking to standardize all processes throughout the creative department including; client onboarding, new employee onboarding, delivery of client feedback, creative reporting, transitions, etc.
Each day can present changes to our ecosystem which means this role must have a proper system set up to ensure maintenance of all the processes created.
Reporting to the Director, Creative Operations, this position is primarily engaged in, but not limited to, the following:
Day-To-Day Activities:
Creative Operations Leadership
  • Works closely with the creative leadership to understand and execute on department initiatives and priorities
  • Aligns with agency operations leadership to ensure departmental initiatives are considered alongside agency operational priorities
  • Help design and implement standard Creative department process (ie: onboarding, briefing protocols, internal approvals, creative reporting, etc)
  • Maintain and track accuracy of active processes, supports the Director in documenting new processes and ongoing Knowledge Base updates, ongoing governance to ensure consistency from all teams
  • Supports the Director in set-up and training, optimization and ongoing governance of all technology tools (routing and approvals, digital asset management)
  • Partner with project managers to ensure project timelines and flow of work through the department remain achievable and unobstructed.
Onboarding + Resourcing
  • Helps Resourcing team source outside talent to support when needed
  • Ensures new Creative team members (including freelancers) are effectively integrated into the team, understand their roles, and are familiar with the tools and processes.
  • Helps the Creative leadership and Creative Operations Director develop and maintain Creative team onboarding processes
Digital Asset Management (oversight):
  • Works closely with Production Studio team to maintain an organized file and archival systems
Required Qualifications:
  • 9 years relevant experience OR Bachelor's Degree +4 years relevant experience OR Master's Degree +2 years relevant experience
  • Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-8 years of Creative Operations or creative project management experience including a track record of effectively implementing processes, delivering projects in a fast-moving environment on time and within budget
  • Demonstrates an understanding of - or has lived experience - working in a creative role in an agency environment
  • Strong process change management and process implementation experience
  • Project management experience with the ability to effectively manage time, multi-task and prioritize; operates with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to take initiative, work independently and prioritize tasks; strong time-management, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Proven leadership, experience leading cross-functional teams in a remote or hybrid environment
  • Strong communication abilities both written and verbal; ability to communicate with all levels of seniority in an effective and professional manner
  • Must have experience and fluency in Excel tools and functionality
  • Hands on experience working in a project management system
Location: This position is fully remote but will be required to align working hours to PST. Rescue is a remote work friendly employer. With limited exceptions, remote work is allowed on a case-by-case basis. Please contact Careers@RescueAgency.com if you have any questions.
Status: Full-time
Pay Range: $80,000 - $95,000 per year

Environment:
All business-related environments are tobacco-free.
Physical Requirements:
Able to remain in a sitting position for prolonged periods of time for the performance of duties. Able to read from a computer, laptop monitor, or tablet for a full workday and for long periods of time (typically 8 hours) including fonts of various sizes from a variety of sources. If working from a Rescue office location, able to stoop, bend, reach, climb stairs, and move freely throughout the building. Able to travel nationwide as needed to meet with clients, coworkers, or attend meetings and seminars. Must be able to move boxed work documents, up to 40 pounds, in and out of office for travel by car and by air.
