Overview:

The main function of this role is to create visual brand assets and deliverables for company-wide use with a focus on customer facing communications. This includes layouts and graphics for both digital and printed materials across multiple channels. The Sr. Creative Marketing Specialist will be the owner of the visual brand and own the creative process. They will oversee their own portion of the budget, manage external vendor relationships, as well as coordinate and execute all activities related to design outputs from asset storage and the online ordering portal to maintaining brand style documentation. They will join a corporate marketing team focused on promoting the value of the company's products and services to the market with engaging content and messaging that inspires the customer to respond. This position reports to the team's senior manager.

The TDW marketing team works closely with product managers, sales leaders and subject matter experts to remain aligned with the business goals. Our group provides marketing tools, templates and programs to help them achieve their objectives. TDW marketing materials are deployed across social media, internal and external websites, email automations and tradeshows around the globe with the goal of influencing prospective customers along their buyer journey and moving them to point of sale.

Responsibilities:

  • Design marketing collateral including persuasive sell sheets and flyers , informative product and services brochures, infographic explainer posters , presentations, event displays, tradeshow graphics, facility signage and displays .
  • Design, plan and execute marketing photo shoots and promotional videos for websites, emails and social media - capturing products, people, and jobsite work out in the field.
  • Work with marketing communications team to develop campaigns and collaborate on ideas for the graphic elements.
  • Work with digital and communications specialists to develop graphic content for digital platforms - social, email, web - including animated gifs and motion graphics.
  • Art direct designs and visual graphics created by external vendors and other team members, including video production and complex technical illustrations.

  • Ability to translate engineering and technical content into customer-focused designs and layouts.
  • Ability to research content and work with other department stakeholders to gather input and content - and from this, formulate creative concepts and ideas.
  • Demonstrated ability to edit and enhance photos, create design templates.
  • Adept at presenting and discussing creative concepts .
  • Take ownership of the TDW visual branding system strategy.
  • Experience with coordinating creative projects through all phases of production and output .
  • Receptive to stakeholder input and revision requests with ability to integrate the feedback through your expert lens across all stages of creative development .
  • Strong desire to seek continuous improvement .

Experience & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Three to six years of experience in graphic design or related field.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite - including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Premiere or other advanced video editing app.
  • Basic working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
  • Basic photography skills beyond point-and-shoot including composition and framing, exposure and focus.
  • Experience working on slide presentation s is preferred.
  • Basic illustration skills are preferred, advanced illustration skills are a plus.
  • Basic copywriting skills (headlines, taglines, marketing blurbs) are preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of Vis i o, Canva and other WYSIWYG or AI content creation platforms is a plus.

  • Experience with tagging, editing, and digital file storage is a plus.
  • Experience designing large - scale , environmental graphics is a plus.
