Paralegal
Salary: $63,500 - $82,000 - $101,500
Bonus potential: 8%
Years of experience: 5 years
Senior Paralegal
Salary: $72,500 - $98,500 - $137,000
Bonus potential: 10%
Years of experience: 7 – 10 years
Provide legal and specialized administrative support, including conducting research and analysis, preparing complex documents and reports, and records management.
Legal:
· * ORGANIZE AND MAINTAIN LEGAL DOCUMENTS AND CORPORATE FILES. Serve as system administrator for contract management system. Clean up digital contract records and move them into contract management system. Ensure record completion. Archive old contracts. Identify and collate documents for production related to litigation, subpoenas, and arbitration. Administer account management for Duane Morris’ data management tool. Creates and maintains a records retention program.
· * REVIEW AND DRAFT VARIOUS LEGAL DOCUMENTS. Draft legal memoranda. Perform initial contract review to identify areas that require input from a lawyer. Create redline versions of new contracts against similar contracts previously agreed upon. Draft and mail notices, including contract terminations, changes of address, and updated certificates of incumbency. Draft secretary certificates for signature. Draft materials checklists for both NEIL and Cedar Hamilton Boards of Directors.
· * CONDUCT LEGAL RESEARCH. Conduct legal research as directed by attorneys. Review Westlaw alerts cited in state law surveys for material changes. Periodically search the DE unclaimed property database and file claims.
· MONITORS AND MAINTAINS RELATED INFORMATION. Monitor and maintain the Cedar Hamilton insurance services licenses and vendor’s zero tax filings. Collect and organize documents related to Crisis Management program and Compliance & Controls Committee.
Human Resources:
· * ORGANIZE AND MAINTAIN HR DOCUMENTS. Perform vendor-related data entry related to new hires, promotions, and terminations. Develop and maintain Record Retention program.
· * ADMINISTER KEY HR PROCESSES. Collate and submit payroll changes each pay period. Complete and submit ad hoc regulatory reports related to EEOC, OSHA, and the Department of Labor. Review and reconcile Affordable Care Act’s 1094 and 1095 forms within the HRIS system.
· * PROVIDE SPECIALIZED HR SUPPORT. Prepare and submit compensation and benefits surveys. Support annual Open Enrollment. Perform auditing in HR-related systems, including ADP and various vendors.
· CONDUCT LEGAL/HR RESEARCH. Manage Jackson Lewis state law summaries.
