SAIC is currently looking to hire a part-time casual Senior Contracts Analyst to join our TAGM team located in Huntsville, AL. The individual will be working in a fast-paced environment performing Acquisition / Contract Analyst duties for the US Army’s TAGM Project Office and will report directly to the Program Acquisition Branch Chief.
Roles and Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for creating, staffing, coordinating, and maintaining records of Contract Requirements Packages (CRPs) including Statement of Work (SOW), Contract Deliverables (CDRLs), Request for Proposals (RFPs), Justification & Approvals (J&As) and Acquisition Plans (APs).
- Review contract terms and conditions to verify compliance with applicable policies and regulations.
- Communicates directly with the Army Contracting Command (ACC) Contract Specialists, Procuring Contracting Officer (PCO) and legal team.
- Liaises with and assists Program Officers, Business Officer, and Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leads to maintain project schedule and efficacy.
- Answers inquiries relative to contract activities of the program office and participates in program office budget reviews and business meetings.
- May performs other contract related duties as assigned by the Program Office leadership.
Qualifications
Education and Experience: Bachelors and ten (10) years or more of related experience; Masters and eight (8) years or more of related experience; an additional four (4) years of experience may be applied in lieu of a Bachelors.
Contract experience:
- Experience reviewing project implementation and gather data on project execution.
- Experience maintaining, filing and providing distribution of contractual documents such as contracts, purchase orders, delivery orders, bid schedules, specifications, drawings and other related documents to the required program office leads Strong experience in Army / DoD Acquisition and Contracting roles IAW DFARS and other applicable rules and regulations.
- Able to begin making an impact immediately for the supported Government customer with minimal train up.
Desired:
- DOD Acquisition certifications and/or formal Acquisition training preferred.
Clearance:
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Active Secret security clearance.
