Senior Content Writer

As the Senior Content Writer you are responsible for writing clear and compelling thought leadership and marketing copy to promote our service lines and products; you play a key role in defining the voice and style of ongoing campaigns and deliverables.

Reporting directly to the Brand & Editorial Leader and collaborating across the Marketing team, you will ensure that our message and voice is consistent across the Firm. You are well versed in the process of writing, including internal/external research of topics, concept development/strategy, SME interviewing, writing/editing and proofreading articles before publication.

In this role you will:

• Edit and revise content from marketing managers, junior writers, and across the Firm to ensure it is free of grammatical errors, compliance risks and follows all brand editorial guidelines
• Ensure all content is aligned with brand style, writing standards and Firm voice
• Act as a point of contact and voice of reason for best practices and ways of writing
• Oversee and assist in the professional bio creation and publication process
• Develop content for campaigns and singular content deliverables across multiple platforms, such as web pages, ads, emailers, brochures, case studies, articles, etc and assist in creating content-driven templates and standards for various deliverables.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to write and produce thought leadership
• Conduct simple keyword research working with SEO Analyst to increase web traffic
• Identify gaps in content and recommending new topics
• Organize and maintain content calendar to publish or complete needed work within deadlines
• Assist with alignment of messaging from the Firm's internal communications team
• Work cross-departmentally as a writing resource as needed for Firm brand projects and other assignments as needed

What you bring to the role:

• Minimum of four years experience in marketing communications, writing and content development focused on external marketing 
• Writing for both technical/professional and non-technical/professional audiences
• Project and time management expertise
• Collaboration skills and a can-do attitude
• Overall marketing, communication, and content strategy knowledge
• Experience working with executives and high level professionals
• Bachelor's Degree
