This is an on-site position in the Atlanta Metro area.
Technical Specialist provides construction QA services and third-party verification of work performed during construction. Inspection of construction to monitor progress and ensure conformance to engineering plans, specifications and construction and safety standards. Daily QA reports to be filed to the overall team.
- Observe construction practices as required for compliance of construction operations with federal, state, and local codes, industry standards, company procedures, and contractual requirements
- Inspection of construction for quality and documenting processes
- Perform inspections for mechanical systems
- Coordinate internally with other project execution disciplines and external suppliers to insure proper quality control planning is performed in advance of construction
- Help create and/or gather required documents and information to support the successful completion of relevant construction activities
- Help represent the construction team in project meeting settings
- Solve problems quickly
