Trinity Solar, one of the largest privately-owned solar installation companies in the US seeks an experienced (3 + years), savvy hands-on Compensation Analyst/Administrator to provide analysis and administration of the compensation pay practices and policies. The analytical thinker we seek will support our HR function by conducting analyses and providing insights to support the development, implementation, and management of the organization's compensation and performance management programs.
Duties & Responsibilities include:
- Conduct regular market surveys and benchmarking to assess the competitiveness of the organization's compensation structures.
- Analyze external salary data to make informed recommendations on salary ranges and adjustments and perform geographical cost of living and cost of labor analysis.
- Evaluate and classify positions within the organization based on job responsibilities, skills, and market data.
- Maintain accurate job descriptions and ensure alignment with internal and external market practices.
- Assist in the development and implementation of the annual compensation planning process.
- Collaborate with HR partners to provide data-driven insights for merit increases, promotions, and other compensation adjustments.
- Conduct analyses to ensure pay equity within the organization, identifying and addressing any disparities and collaborating with HR and leadership to develop strategies for maintaining equitable pay practices.
- Administer compensation programs and analyze the effectiveness of all plans, including bonuses and incentives.
- Stay abreast of regulations and laws for USA related to compensation and ensure that compensation practices comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Up to 5% domestic travel may be required.
- Workindependently to process information data reports, trends, etc.
- Data driven analysis and reporting.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proven strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and ability to synthesize information and datafroma variety of sources.
- Must demonstrate advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel,including the ability to create complex models.
- Must have strong math skills.
- Proficiency with standard Microsoft Office applications (Access, Word, Power Point, Outlook)
- Must be well-organized with excellent time management skills, and attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to identify and understand broad-scope issues while simultaneously attending to details.
- Sound judgement and excellent follow-up.
- Must be a self-motivated and results oriented critical thinker.
- Pro-active, goal-oriented and able to move quickly to resolution.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability toapplysound judgment to make data driven recommendations.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, finance/accounting, or a business-related field
