Senior Community Engagement Specialist, Adapt for Life

Hours/FTE: 40/1.0 FTE
Expected Starting Salary Range: $28 – 35/hr
This is a 10-month position working during the school year, August- June.

Working as a Senior Community Engagement Specialist with Adapt for Life through Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center you will:
- Provide education on Adapt For Life suicide prevention in Cincinnati area schools
- Present to students about mental health, teaching important life skills while offering resources they can use to help themselves and others.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, work both independently and in a team environment, and work efficiently and creatively to meet deadlines.
- Effectively leverage engagement, outreach and health education activities and measure impact and effectiveness.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 0-2 years work experience in a related job discipline
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with adolescents/teens and mental health services
- Experience facilitating, presenting; classroom experience
- Professional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with ability to develop materials for presentations to a variety of audiences both internal and external
- Computer literate and competency related to Microsoft Office with emphasis on PowerPoint and Excel
- LIW/LISW or LPC/LPCC licensure preferred
