ATS is seeking a Full-time Senior Calibration Technician to join our Phoenix, AZ Calibration Lab. You will test, calibrate, and adjust a variety of electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, and electronic instruments.

ATS is seeking a Full-time Senior Calibration Technician to join our Phoenix, AZ Calibration Lab. You will test, calibrate, and adjust a variety of electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, and electronic instruments.

The Senior Calibration Technician will primarily be responsible for the calibration of electronic and mechanical test equipment, either at our customers' sites or in ATS Phoenix calibration laboratory. This job requires some travel.
Responsibilities:
- Calibration of mechanical and electrical measuring and test equipment
- Basic mechanical and physical dimensional calibrations: micrometers, calipers, indicators, pressure gages, torque wrenches, etc.
- Basic electrical calibrations such as multimeters, transducers, and temperature devices, etc.
- Candidates will work on projects independently and with other technicians as the team grows.
- Candidate should be a self-starter, organized and should possess good interpersonal skills. Good verbal and written communication skills as well as computer skills are a must.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in a related field required.
- Electrical, electronic, or mechanical calibration experience as well as military PMEL, METCAL, or TMDE training preferred.
- Ability to lift and move 50lbs.frequently and unassisted.

- Technical knowledge of electronic principles to troubleshoot equipment calibration issues in the field. Experience using diagrams, schematics, engineering data, and test equipment is preferred.
- Position will require some daily travel - most travel would be within a 3-hour range of Phoenix.
