WHO WE ARE:
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with proven experience working with business stakeholders in a consulting capacity to support our clients in the Midstream sector of the Oil and Gas industry based out of Houston TX. You will be accountable for gathering, analyzing, and documenting the requirements from our business stakeholders that will be used to define technical requirements that meet our business objectives. You will play a key role in ensuring the coordination and collaboration of development teams in the continuous improvement of our commercial applications executing a wide range of business processes. Your duties will also include managing the product backlog and prioritizing deliverables to provide the best value for our stakeholders.

YOU WILL
- Work with business stakeholders to understand and document business requirements.
- Develop user stories to communicate business requirements to development teams.
- Develop business design documents based on business requirements.
- Work with development teams to help translate the business design into technical design and test approach.
- Collaborate with development teams during design, development, and testing to make sure deliverables match business requirements.
- Work with business teams to organize training(s) prior to release as needed.
- Collaborate with other Business Analysis team members in defining our product roadmap and release plans.
YOU HAVE
- 10+ years of Business Analyst experience, Oil & Gas industry with midstream, technology solutions is required.
- 5+ years of Product Owner experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of industry standards and standard business capabilities.
- Knowledge of business analysis, project delivery practices, and standards across the project lifecycle.
- Possesses a deep understanding and problem-solving ability of Information Technology of various complexities.
- Excellent knowledge of techniques associated with data modeling, process modeling, and user-centered design principles within the context of organizational standards.
- Familiar with business strategy and assessments (i.e., feasibility studies, business cases and/or cost/benefit, project sizing, and costing, and current state analysis/needs assessments).
- Proficiency in managing application backlog using tools like ADO (Azure DevOps) TFS or Jira.
- Experience working in an Agile organization using Scrum, Kanban, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), or other scaling models.
- CBAP® or PMI-PBA® certifications are a plus
- Must be able to work onsite at the clients office location.
Pay Rate: $60hr-$80/hr
