Job Description
- Work with business stakeholders to understand and document business requirements.
- Develop user stories to communicate business requirements to development teams.
- Develop business design documents based on business requirements.
- Work with development teams to help translate the business design into technical design and test approach.
- Collaborate with development teams during design, development, and testing to make sure deliverables match business requirements.
- Work with business teams to organize training(s) prior to release as needed.
- Collaborate with other Business Analysis team members in defining our product roadmap and release plans.
- 10+ years of Business Analyst experience, Oil & Gas industry with midstream, technology solutions is required.
- 5+ years of Product Owner experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of industry standards and standard business capabilities.
- Knowledge of business analysis, project delivery practices, and standards across the project lifecycle.
- Possesses a deep understanding and problem-solving ability of Information Technology of various complexities.
- Excellent knowledge of techniques associated with data modeling, process modeling, and user-centered design principles within the context of organizational standards.
- Familiar with business strategy and assessments (i.e., feasibility studies, business cases and/or cost/benefit, project sizing, and costing, and current state analysis/needs assessments).
- Proficiency in managing application backlog using tools like ADO (Azure DevOps) TFS or Jira.
- Experience working in an Agile organization using Scrum, Kanban, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), or other scaling models.
- CBAP® or PMI-PBA® certifications are a plus
- Must be able to work onsite at the clients office location.
