Job Summary and Qualifications

The Senior Business Analyst reports to the Manager, 3M HIM Technologies Implementations Team. This position works with our business partners to understand operational objectives and deliver innovative, reliable, and cost-effective solutions to support HCA Healthcare’s revenue cycle. As part of the larger 3M HIM Technologies team, this individual gathers information, documents and communicates requirements, and coordinates project efforts across multiple teams.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Gather and Document Requirements

Lead the analysis and validation of the business needs of stakeholders and develops recommendations for technical solutions and systems to support and optimize business objectives

Translate conceptual customer requirements into functional and non-functional requirements

Work with stakeholders and project team to prioritize collected requirements

Communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements

Develop and Implement Project Plans

Collaborate with team members, project managers, and business partners to determine project scope and create project plans for major efforts

Validate resource requirements and develop cost estimate models Manage and track the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle Serve as liaison to internal business owners, EHR vendors, and 3M HIS Work with 3M HIM Technologies Product Analysts to review test plans and ensure requirements are covered Ensure support, testing, change management, and communication are planned for new systems, functionality, and enhancements prior to implementation

What qualifications you will need:

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree - Preferred

EXPERIENCE

3 or more years of experience in a Business Analyst role - Required

Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience

LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS & TRAINING

Reg Health Information Admin - Preferred
