Job Summary:
The Senior Benefits Specialist is responsible for the technical assistance of all benefits and retirement programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, and 401(k) plan.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Provide functional and technical expertise to the benefits department regarding client’s product inquiries and administration processes to achieve an exceptional customer service.
· Effectively manage and oversee all aspects of 401k plan administration, including computation of contributions within IRS guidelines and oversight of non-discretionary/profit-sharing allocations.
· Work closely with 401K third party administrative vendor to coordinate benefits eligibility and enrollments.
· Responds to benefits inquiries from managers and team member on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes and other general inquires.
· Identify opportunities to improve processes and strategies, including preparing and analyzing audit reports.
· Responsible for technical problem solving though hands on communications with the benefit team.
· Educate the benefits team providing trainings and demos to ensure successful adoption of our software product and services.
· Coordinate and assist with set-up of online benefits administration.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful resolution of client’s issues.
- Contribute to the development of best practice and tools for our clients support and software benefits.
- Track and report progress of benefits technical projects to internal stakeholders to maximize our client’s experience.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Direct client contact and experience in a PEO Outsourcing environment
- Strong knowledge of PEO and all elements of employee benefits administration processing and management
- Sound technical knowledge.

Education and Experience:
- At least two years related experience required.
- Above average working knowledge of MS office software (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Pay: $52,000.00 - $66,560.00 per year
