As a member of the ShiftPixy engineering team
· You will be executing alongside a high-functioning team of product owners, technical project managers, frontend and backend developers, quality assurance engineers, and DevOps team members who are focused on the creation, execution, and maintenance of a bleeding-edge gig economy workforce management solution.
· You will participate in design discussions to ensure our systems scale with the evolving product complexity and a growing user base.

Preferred qualifications
· Working experience with NodeJS, TypeScript, NestJS, and AWS Cloud (bonus for Lambda, API Gateway, and EKS/Kubernetes).
· Proficiency with RESTful or gRPC API design and implementation.
· Experience with SQL & NoSQL datastores such as Postgres and MongoDB.
· Experience working in an agile environment.
· Experience designing and developing systems, applications, toolkits, and utilities with a keen eye on scalability, reliability, and usability.
