Senior Av Technician

Job Summary:

Works with Lead Installers and independently, in the completion of installs and service calls. Responsible for timely completion of daily procedures and paperwork they are assigned. Tech is also responsible for assigned vehicle care and maintenance.

• Work directly with Project Coordinator and Project Manager to complete projects
• Requires excellent communication skills
• Self-motivated, task-driven, and able to apply best practices theory
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to create in the field solutions
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Develop and maintain proficiency in the following areas
• Pay range is 25.00 to 32.00+ per hour DOE
• Optional Overtime
  

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Complete complex audio/video installs and setup
• Control system deployment
• Home theater installation
• Lighting and shade system integration and installation
• Satellite/Cable systems setup and install
• Advanced troubleshooting of installation and programming
• Advanced networking/data system install and setup
• Strong knowledge of advanced networking
• Advanced understanding of multi-room systems and setup
• Responsible for deployment of complete home automation system
• Lead the team in small and large scale deployments
• Assist in training Junior technicians
• Work directly with Sales and client for completed scope of work
• Ability and Desire to learn

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Highly detailed, organized, and multitask driven
• Proficient in all Senior level qualifications
• Assist in training and evaluation of Junior level technicians
• Excellent skills with desktop and mobile computing
• Clean driving record and background check
• Crestron knowledge required
• Control4 knowledge required
• Crestron and/or Control4 programming a plus
• Advanced networking knowledge required
• Minimum of 3 years of field experience
• Positive Attitude!
