- Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking - understanding of L3-L7 networking protocols.
- Prior experience with OAuth2, SAML, SSO, blockchain technologies, and decentralized applications is a plus.
- Full stack product testing including front end, backend, and experience in networking stack, authorization, authentication, and security protocols.
- Fluent in Python/Shell/Bash/Pytest/Selenium.
- Experience with mobile testing frameworks is a plus.
- Familiar with Unix/Linux development environment and shell scripting.
- Experience with source control (Git, GitHub) and CI/CD systems such as Jenkins, Bamboo, etc.
- Knowledge of virtual machines (VirtualBox, Vagrant) and containerization technologies (Docker).
- 5+ years of relevant experience desired.
- B.S. in Computer Science / Computer Engineering or related field.
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement test strategy, test cases, and test automation tools.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Architect, design, and develop an automation framework to create and run nightly tests.
- Architect, design, and develop an automation framework to track products performance and scaling.
- Work with other engineers to drive improvements in code quality through manual and automated testing.
- Document software defects using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers, monitoring bug resolution efforts and tracking successes.
- Identify defects, design flaws, and corner cases.
- Mentor and train other members of the QA team on testing techniques, tools, and best practices.
- Participate in discussions of products and feature requirements to ensure effective test coverage.
- Provide expert technical knowledge, industry best practices, advice and expertise to build robust and efficient product.
- Collaborate with the other QA engineers, developers, security architect, product manager, and support engineers throughout the entire secure software development process.
- Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and other stakeholders to ensure that the CI/CD pipeline meets their needs.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software testing and quality assurance. Continuously evaluate and recommend new testing tools, test methods, and technologies, and continuously improve the testing process to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Analyze emerging threats in IoT security, combat threats and provide the best protection to our customers.
