Job Title: Sr. Associate, Government Compliance - Asset Management Job Code: SAS20232011-108288 Job Location: Dulles, VA Job Description: Perform under general supervision. Primary point of contact for Government Property at site.
Responsible for performing the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distribution of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Functional Knowledge of FAR Part 45, FAR 52.245-1, DFARS property management clauses, DCMA Guidebook and other. Communicates with contacts within and outside of own department and may occasionally have responsibility for communicating with parties external to the organization (e.g., customers, subcontractors etc.).
Manage the asset management records database, including accurate input of new records and updates to existing records. Contributes to the preparation of asset management reports as needed, including data for financial reports, physical inventory reports and results, lost equipment, self-assessment results and additional reports. Ensure tracking and retention of audit artifacts.
Responsible for packaging hazardous materials and preparing required hazmat documentation. Prepares and packages material for shipment in accordance with MIL-STD 2073 Participate in internal and external audits including quarterly self-assessments. Ability to handle items (up to 45 lbs.) utilizing proper lifting techniques and material handling aids (e.g., pallet jacks, height adjustable carts, etc.).
Participate in process improvement projects. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 yeras of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 yeras of prior Government Compliance experience. Maintain Top Secret/SCI security clearance. Preferred Additional Skills: Excellent communication, technical writing, and presentation skills.
Certified Property Professional Specialist (CPPS) certification from the National Property Management Association (NPMA). Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite are preferred. Data Analysis skills including familiarity with Microsoft Excel formulas, charts and pivot tables are preferred.
Familiarity with Sunflower asset tracking system. Knowledge of Supply Chain Management, Contracts Management and Finance concepts is preferred. Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Operations Management, Information Technology, or Business Management with 2+ years of experience.
