The Senior Associate should have superb customer service skills and function in a team-oriented environment. The primary focus of the Senior Associate includes but is not limited to the following: maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction, generating sales, housekeeping, merchandising, signing, pricing, cash register operations (POS) and loss prevention in adherence to all Company Policy/Store standards.
Essential Duties:
- Stock shelves, counters, or tables with merchandise
- Set up advertising displays or arrange merchandise on counters or tables to promote sales
- Stamp, mark, or tag price on merchandise
- Obtain merchandise requested by customer or receive merchandise selected by customer
- Answer customers questions concerning location, price, and use of merchandise
- Total price and tax on merchandise purchased by customer to determine bill
- Accept payment and make change. Wrap or bag merchandise for customers
- Count and record amount of cash in register at end of shift
- Calculate sales discount to determine price
- Keep the showroom and register area clean and orderly
- Assist in plants to maximize sales and meet or exceed goals
- Perform store open and close procedure when necessary
