The Walmart account manager must communicate regularly with all involved in the supply chain to ensure items are set up correctly, receivable, and sellable at Walmart. This process requires organization, planning, and great attention to detail so that no steps are missed in the process. To succeed, this position must collaborate and execute job functions with the following individuals and teams:
You will need to be analytical and adept at handling a lot of data, as well as have strategic thinking, scriptwriting skills, strong communication, etc.

Responsibilities:
Walmart Buyers & Buying Teams
- Manage a Planned Ship/Ladder Plan report to ensure Walmart's commitment to receipts.
- Assist in the presentation/sale of items that must have WM approval to be shipped to stores.
- Present, and be able to deliver product samples of items to buyers.
- Manage item data, including item creation, order processing, and price updates.
- Consistent follow-up on action items requested by the buyer.
- Create weekly sales reports based on seasonal programs.
- Replenishment, identifying opportunities, and submission of orders for Walmart for approval.
- Assist with all things Walmart, including product testing, factory info, recalls, etc.
Account Team
- Sales (working with SVP of Sales)
- Start-to-finish sales collaboration using data insights to produce sales.
- Ad hoc reports and report assistance on demand.
- Identify opportunities for replenishment and other selling.
- Assist with and provide info for internal and external sales meetings.
- Customer Service and Operations and assistance with orders, routing and shipping questions, store issues, inventory, item creation, and any other needs.
- Field Sales support and providing ad hoc selling info to support field selling and replenishment opportunities.
- Grocery, Drug, Convenience (GDC) account data - Weekly reports based on item seasonality.
- Market 6 portal and POS and ship information for all Kroger divisions.
- POS/Sell through reporting based on the season.
- Follow up on shipments/claims.
- Ad hoc reports as requested. Must work closely with the business to understand the needs and translate them into reporting requirements.
- Other retailers based on requests and data availability.
- Ad hoc Business and Sales support for all selling and data needs for company employees, independent sales reps, and any requests from sister companies.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
