Senior Analyst, Records Management

Venture Global LNG ("Venture Global") is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. Summary
The Senior Analyst, Records Management will have a key role in the development, implementation, and management of a comprehensive Records Management (RM) program for VGLNG. Reporting to the Manager, Records Management, the Senior Analyst, Records Management will work closely with Legal, Information management, and Regulatory teams on program creation, implementation and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities

• Under broad direction from the Manager, Records Management, develop and implement the RM program for VGLNG, aligning with Federal, State, and local record retention mandates.
• Maintain and mature the VGLNG Records Management Policy and Schedule and RM policies, procedures, and guidelines for the creation, retention, retrieval, and disposal of records and information.
• Incorporate legal and regulatory requirements and best practices related to Records Management, including privacy, information protection, and retention schedules as needed for the lifecycle of a record.
• Working closely with Information Management, provide expertise and oversight in the creation and maintenance of metadata and folder structure incorporated in electronic document management systems for VGLNG. Partner with IT to create and improve automated records filing process in various systems including, but not limited to, email and Hexagon systems.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and manage information assets and ensure that they are properly stored, secured, and disposed of.
• Participate in audits for conformance to Records Management procedures and storage.
• Establish key metrics for program performance.
• Participate in the development of disaster recovery and business continuity plans as they relate to records.

• Prepare and participate in company training on Records Management policies and procedures, including the on-boarding, orientation processes and annual refresher.
• Provide record management awareness and guidance to VGLNG as needed.

Minimum Qualifications (required)

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of recent, relevant experience in a Records Management.
• 3 years of experience in developing/building and implementing a Records Management program including policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirement related to Records Management, including privacy, data protection, and retention schedules.
• Experience in managing an electronic Records Management system.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to prioritize, organize and demonstrate strong attention to detail.
• Solid written and oral communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in working in the Oil and Gas industry.
• Strong technology background in implementing metadata driven electronic document management systems, including SharePoint, OpenText and Hexagon.
• Extensive knowledge of records lifecycle management for both electronic and hard copy records.
• Related certifications are plus: IGP, CRM, CIP, and PMP.
