Responsibilities to Anticipate:
While working with engineering helps develops manufacturing processes for products, taking into consideration problems inherent in the transfer of technology from research to manufacturing. Such design and development may include new or revised processes for final acceptance test.
Helps create procedures such as QTP’s and WI’s while working next to engineering.
Conducts tests and data collection throughout stages of production to determine test results, and services, troubleshoots and solves production process problems with processes or equipment already in operation.
Reviews field support requirements and recommends tools and test equipment. May make recommendations concerning current yield issues or test results anomalies.
Oversees current test gates assigned while working closely with management. Supervises the work of manufacturing production disciplines in the Operations function.
Responsible for sending daily reports to management of current test gates.
Basic Qualifications:
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics(STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
U.S. Citizenship status is required, as this position will require the ability to access U.S. only data systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
Works under minimal supervision and more independently in the physical creation of UTC products or the activities associated with the operation of UTC facilities.
Able to solve highly complex Manufacturing / Operations problems and may serve as a lead resource on varied tasks.
Ability to lead in orienting, training, checking and assigned work to other entry-level Manufacturing / Operations employees.
