The Role:
As the Senior Analyst, Benefits and Compensation, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, implementation and communication of the Guardian Pharmacy benefits and compensation plans and programs. Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as subject matter expert for Guardian Pharmacy benefits plans. Respond to escalated benefits inquiries from employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollment, status changes and other general inquiries. Research and resolve complex issues affecting eligibility, enrollment, and claims.
- Analyze current benefits, evaluating the use, coverage, effectiveness, cost, and plan experience.
- Support the administration of the compensation review cycle, including merit increases, promotions, and bonus programs. This includes data management and data integrity, calculations, and reporting.
- Benchmark jobs against survey data to provide the analysis of market trends and recommendations for structure movement, grade changes or individual adjustments based on the data.
Education/Credentials/Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in business administration, human resources or related field required
- Minimum of 5 years benefits administration and/or compensation experience
- Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS), Certified Benefits Professional (CBP), Professional of Human Resources (PHR/SPHR) Certification, Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or other related certification and designation preferred.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Advanced and demonstrated knowledge of compensation and benefits administration, policies, procedures, practices, products, services and tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate plan designs, enrollment process, and government regulations to all levels of employees.
- Self-starter with excellent analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to build trusted working relationships with field team members and all levels of leadership.
- Ability to effectively multi-task, demonstrate flexibility and high levels of initiative.
- Experience in partnering and negotiating with benefits brokers and vendors.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)
- Proficiency with HR systems; Workday experience a plus
