Position Summary
Location: Atlanta

The Senior IT Governance Function is responsible for IT Governance Framework, IT Audit Governance and IT Governance Support. IT Governance Function is tasked with managing professional relationships with Internal & External Audit Teams and Information Security, providing guidance on developing IT Governance Strategy, including Framework Development and Implementation. Prepares reports for various Steering Committees, and monitoring compliance with SOX and best practice frameworks such as COBIT, ITIL, ISO and NIST and strategic objectives.
The role is responsible for supporting IT Management and Information Security with its responsibilities in responding to requests from internal and external audit entities including reviewing requests, monitoring and enforcing audit execution and reviewing findings with governance bodies.
Qualifications
Required Skills/Knowledge
  • Experience in design of IT processes and internal controls to maximize efficiency and provide adequate governance, train IT personnel on internal controls.
  • Review technology action plans to ensure reported finding and associated risks are addressed.
  • Provide guidance in the creation of action plans and assist business owner to develop remediating action plans.
  • Design of IT processes and internal controls to maximize efficiency and provide adequate governance, train IT personnel on internal controls.
  • Negotiate the specifics of the audit issues with Internal Audit Group in order to impact the final audit report rating.
  • Manage internal and external audit IT-specific requests.
  • Evidentiary collection and review for all issue closure documentation
  • Provide integration and escalation assistance with internal teams for solution deployments.
  • Coordinate and prepare reports for various Management Committees with a focus on accuracy, consistency and clarity
  • Prepare monthly governance dashboard (comprehensive IT reports including KPIs, KRIs, SLAs, project portfolio etc.) with drill down milestones.
  • Partners with operational areas within IT to build strong working relationships, improve workflow and solve organizational issues.
  • Ability to work with cross-organizational and cross-functional teams in a global matrix environment.
  • Experience with the following controls: SOX, SOC 1 (Type I & II), SOC 2 (Type I & II), NIST 800-53, NIST Cyber Security Framework, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, PUB 1075, COBIT, ITIL, GDPR
  • Possesses intermediate level understanding of IT general controls (security, change management, disaster recovery, data center, etc.) and IT application control concepts (application processing controls, system reconciliations, interfaces, reports testing, workflows); proficient understanding of system development lifecycle methodology, operating system and database platforms.
  • Possesses proficient understanding of auditing standards generally accepted by ISACA, IIA, AICPA, and PCAOB.
  • Possess proficient understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, risk management, also intermediate-level understanding of the Gaming Industry.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including listening.
  • Office environment
  • Must be willing and able to travel, work after hours and weekends as required (estimated travel < 10%)

Desired Skills/Knowledge/Certifications
  • TIL, CIPP/E, and CIPP/US certifications preferred.
  • 7 years of experience in a medium to large corporate organization; Information Technology, Financial Services, and Gaming Industry experience is desired.

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering is preferred.
